great 5km hike best to go during the week and not during the season as it tends to get very busy we went in March on a weekday which was a great time, lovely little waterfalls around every bend loved the place nice and refreshing.

We did the round trip ie 10 KMs. This is a well shaded river walk of 5 KMs. It is well signposted. Great excercise for us. We were there on a busy Sunday morning but the route got a little crowded as the day progressed....More

If you want to exercise in the heat of an Andalucian summer yhis shady walk up the river Majaceite with its cooling pools and waterfalls through kush vegetation is just the thing. A delight.

A beautiful walk to enjoy on a warm sunny morning. I loved the part that goes between the river and meadows. There are many little bridges criss crossing the river and several old mills. Its quite cool and dark in parts. Not a bad thing....More
