Overview
More
This extraordinary zoo, one of the oldest in the U.S., underwent a multi-million dollar renovation in the 1980s and is still expanding. Its landscaping replicates the natural habitats of the numerous animals, some of which are endangered species. Four panda bears from China delight the crowds, and groups of gorillas separated by moats do their own share of entertaining.

A must see while in Atlanta is the Atlanta Zoo. it is in a great location, easy to find and very enjoyable for the young and older. The ideal place for an extended family to meet and greet. The panda bears are so cute

There are many more viewing areas than before at the Zoo. If you can't see an animal at one location move on to the next.

I would park off the Cherokee Avenue side of the park..if you go on Boulevard ave, you will have a LONG walk. Not sure on the pricing. I would suggest to check with you local library as they sometimes have free tickets!

They are at different times. Today the gorillas are at 1:45. However, on Sept. 4, they're at 2:15 with the orangutans at 2:30. Check the Zoo Atlanta website for the complete schedule on the date you're going.
