    A wonderful experience
Beautiful theatre, great acoustics, great view from any seat, My only negative is that apparently I was seated near the bar so people were constantly walking in front of me. I am short and I could see very well from my seat. Seats were comfy and made for an adult person

    Beautiful venue
Absolutely love seeing shows at the fox! Although I will say I was extremely disappointed with the sound quality of Wicked on July 28th ! I don't know if the almost strike caused an issue with the sound or production team but it was terrible, no bass, sounded like a high school play.. but other times I've seen Wicked there ( we also went on July 5th) and it was incredible! So i will go back because I'm hoping it was a fluke! But 600$ for tickets and was disappointed was a bummer but crap happens I guess.. lol

Excellent Restored and Beautiful theatre in downtown Atlanta
Beautiful and restored Fox Theatre in downtown Atlanta, Ga. You feel like you are in an open-air theatre with the huge stone walls, Persian runs, chandeliers, and balconies. The ceiling blue to resemble the night sky complete with clouds and stars. Great venue for shows and concerts. Worth a visit!

    Fox Theatre
We saw Shrek the Musical for our first event at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta. The midtown area has many restaurants nearby to enjoy before or after. We parked in the purple lot in the Coda building which is the furthest away of the Fox lots. We did not reserve ahead of time as the show was not full and paid the attendant at the gate. This lot was cheaper but also felt safe in a nice building. The theatre is amazing with the blue roof that feels like the night sky. Our seats were about midway up the upper seating area and gave a great view of the stage. It was easy to navigate and we look forward to visiting again in the future.

We've been season ticket holders of the Broadway performances for years and starting to question renewing next year for the first time. The sound system is just AWFUL!!!! Both "Wicked," "Cats" and "The Band's Visit" had massive sound problems that detract terribly from the performance. Whether it's the traveling company or Fox system - please, please, please get this fixed!!!!

Had the privilege of seeing Vince Gill and the Eagles here last year. The interior was a well preserved grand hall from the past, but the piece de resistance was the ceiling that was curved and painted to give the illusion that you were outside. It was a very peasant phenomenon, that words don't do justice! Have tried to return for another show but the billing has met my liking, seems to cater to up and coming bands, etc.
There are many nice restaurants within walking distance. If you go, try to sat a night or two at Stonehurst B and B nearby. Also near the Aquarium and the Civil rights museum...

Many grand international cities have historic theatres unique for something - accoustics, architecture on inside or outside, multiple uses other than as theatres during their lives, historical performances, etc. The Fox is one of these theatres. The Fox is sometimes confused as the theatre hosting the premier of Gone with the Wind (it was actually premiered in globally in Atlanta in the now torn-down Loew's theatre). However, the Fox has hosted many stage shows, live theatre, Broadway productions, and concerts over its many years. It was opened only 2 months after the 1929 stock market crash and closed 125 weeks later, but eventually re-opened and refurbished. Great place to attend any event on the calendar.

The Fox Theatre in Atlanta is one of the most beautiful theaters in the world to me. The acoustics and the seating are top notch. The events manager consistently fills the Fox with a wide variety of events and shows that appeal to the greater community of Atlanta as well as drawing folks from the greater region of the Southeast.

The theater is kept clean and the furnishings and artifacts preserved beautifully. Unfortunately the tour leaves a bit to be desired mainly, I believe, because the particular tour guide I had was not as proficient in the history of the theater as she could have been. But the tour still afforded a nice overview of all of the rooms and parts of this unique one-of-a-kind theater. Thank you to the preservationists who saw the beauty in The Fox and saved it for the rest of us to enjoy!

Gorgeous but our there needs to be better sound coordination between the local and band sound techs for rock shows.
Fox Theater is a visual spectacle.

B-52s Farewell Tour and KC and the Sunshine Band
Perhaps each exhorbantly priced soft drink should come with a pair of ear plugs for concerts.
We sat Orchestra, Row W and the music was drowned out by the auditory clash.
The sound was so bad that people left. One woman was playing Solitaire during B-52s. So many people were covering their ears. We tore up face masks as makeshift earplugs.
My ears are still ringing.
The bass was so strong, it reverbed against our bodies. My chest hurt when we left.

Attended a "Little Big Town " concert Saturday night and was reminded how special The Fox is. I lived here in the 70's when it was almost demolished. I got to know a few who helped restore it and have been to many concerts like Grateful Dead, Jackson Brown and even a boxing match over the years. It is a very well run venue with everything under control. It is clean and accommodating for any event.

The Fox is a great experience for all ages. Knowing you go into a building with so much history (it’s literally a historic landmark!), is amazing. The staff was welcoming and helpful, the theatre itself is unique and love every minute of being there, whether for a private event, tour or a show!!!

The auditorium represents a moorish skyline including an arched bridge across the front of the ceiling and a starry night. The lounges are decorated in an Egyptian motif and it is all maintained in an immaculate state. An Atlanta icon.

The “Fabulous” Fox theater is an Atlanta landmark. It was almost torn down some years ago but Atlantans fought to save. When you enter, you’ll see why. The whole theater has an Arabian Nights theme with many details such as the custom made carpeting and the decor in the restroom. The auditorium is amazing. It is designed so that you think you are outside under the night sky with twinkling stars. We saw Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Great show, which included two of their signature pieces, Cry, and Revelations, plus some newer works. All the seats are good, with unobstructed views. The acoustics are also great. The only catch is that there is not enough leg room between rows. If you are y’all, be sure to get an aisle seat.

A great place to see a show or movie. The theater is like entering a dream. You look up and you see a ceiling that looks like a sky with stars.

They also have themed conference rooms for events such as weddings, social events, and other business or Civic gatherings.

They also offer Broadway style shows in the main theater, throughout the year.

if you're visiting Atlanta or live in Atlanta, the Fox Theater is a must-see for anyone who wants to enjoy a wonderful experience and be amazed at the beautiful architecture of this Atlanta icons!
