I have been frequenting this park since the mid '80's... and love it just as much, if not more than I did when I started roller blading through the paved walkways back then. This park has transitioned a lot throughout the years... mostly all for the better, and it truly continues to be a "vital" part of Atlanta culture &... More

I love to come here now that the Beltline drops into the park. So many people are skating and biking and there are children everywhere.

A nice park space next to the Botanical gardens. Parking around that area can be tricky, just read the signs. The park seems well groomed and maintained. Great for kids, adults, dog walking, bike riding, roller skating. Play areas specifically for kids. Swimming pool for summer. Large areas for frisbee, volleyball, football...etc

Beautiful park located in the city. Lots of walking trails, beautiful grounds, and plenty of parking around the area. Locals brought their drowns out on the tall hills, many people walking their dogs, family friendly walking and bike paths everywhere. Great place to spend time outdoors.

Huge city park. We walked a couple of miles to check out the surroundings. It's amazing as an out-of-towner, to see such a nice family attraction, inside the city. It was certainly a popular place, for walkers, runners, people watchers, and pet lovers. I'm sure the pool is a draw in the warmer months. We're glad we stopped, and would... More

The location and vibe are outstanding. The new beltline trails through the park add a lot to make Atlanta a connected and walkable city. There are still some dense hardwoods and wild areas. BUT, it is a little disconcerting to see coyotes out and about in the daytime. They are not aggressive, but still ...

Very large, several fields and activities. There is usually something going on - a concert, art show or something else.
