This park is still nice and a warm place to visit and just relax. Great views of the city and the lake is beautiful. Just a relaxing place of tranquillity.

Whether it's yoga, running, walking or bike riding (or other wheels), Piedmont is a nice place to partake. Acres and acres of well kept grounds and paths, and great places to eat within walking distance.

We stayed at the W Midtown just a few blocks away from the park. Beautifully kept and safe park. It even offers a dog park which was very important for my 2 boxers.

At first I was a little leery because I saw blankets/ personal belongings stashed in the bushes but soon warmed up to the area and felt more comfortable and safer. They have two large dog parks, open green spaces, a beautiful lake with swings and...More

I took four out-of-town friends to the park for a walk around the lake after lunch. They were all impressed with the beauty and quiet available in the midst of the city.

Excellent green space in the middle of Atlanta, with a tennis centre, lots of open space, soft ball courts etc

This is a surprisingly good urban park and the day that we were there, we found a number of art booths and vendors. There is great walking and hiking and also great photo venues.

This park is veeeery nice - particularly with nice weather! There is always something going on and lots of people around. My favourite spot is the lake! There is path just next to it and a very nice view of some buildings Downtown.

The Belt line is your best bet. You are able to rent bikes from Ponce City Market and also enjoy great food, fun, and shopping.

No you would need to drive from what I remember. Beautiful place. The aquarium is awesome. Also for the aquarium park in the left across the street for like $5.
