We toured the Maurice Sendak exhibit and the Jewish exhibit. Took us about two hours. The set up was nicely displayed and there was plenty to keep the young ppl occupied. Even enjoyed the costumes. Upon entrance there is a gate with a speaker. Press the call button if you have any issues entering the facility. Parking was plentiful, but... More

It is an intense experience to see this museum! Reminds one that Mr Death wanted to kill all of the 11 million Jews then living in Europe. Europeans collaborated. When some of the survivors returned their properties had been taken over ....

The Breman Jewish Heritage Museum is excellent. The layout of the Museum is easy to Navigate and the photos and history details will keep your interest from start to finish. They do offer Docent Tours, and highly recommended.

My daughter and I visited this museum during our last stay in July 2016. We went during the week, so it wasn't crowded at all. The cost of the museum was very reasonable, at $15.00 per. There are three different rooms to go through but I recommend saving the Maurice Sendak exhibit for last as you will need something more... More

I am not a museum enthusiast when the sun is bright and the breezes blow. My time spent in this - well organized, chocked-full of exhibits - interesting museum was time well spent. My companions agree. Though the theme is tragic, the displays were not overwhelming, well thought out and poignant.

This was so much fun. The museum itself is just lovely, but this particular exhibit left my kids wanting to read books by this author nonstop. There were plenty of activities, both active and passive, to keep them busy for a full morning. I hope they will do another exhibit like this. It has been a few months since we... More

I took a small group of ladies during the week. We did a self guided tour of displays covering the Jewish community in Atlanta. There was also a nice exhibit of quilts and newspaper articles.

The Breman brings in some very interesting exhibits throughout the year. The building is very pretty and there is free parking.

I found the exhibit good but to me it was just a bunch of pictures and brief infomation about that picture. I have been to the exhibit in DC and was expecting something similar but found it to be lacking that feeling and explanations.

The Breman Museum is an Atlanta gem! Exhibits of the Jewish artists (Maurice Sendak drawings for children's books & some illustrated letters.are currently on view) and the advancing doom of the Holocaust (tracking places of terror and some individuals, this permanent exhibit of vocal testimony, objects, and photographs reveals evidence of the Jewish people in Europe murdered by the Nazis)....
