My son and I recently played golf at the Bobby Jones Golf Course. It was our first time.......another golfer joined us who had played the course before...which was very helpful. We enjoyed our round of golf............but he shared with us that the course is closing soon due to the expansion of a parking facility for the nearby hospital. This was... More

This course is different. There are many holes that are a little adventurous to say the least. The best way i can say it is that this is a shot makers course. Forced carries on a lot of holes, steep elevation drops, and blind tee shots. There are also a lot of parrallel fairways and not many white stakes- which... More

I have to go to Atlanta every year for a week and the night life isn't exactly my cup of tea. This year I discovered this little municipal golf course about 3-4 miles from downtown in North Side near Buckhead. The course is older and pretty with full grown trees and some quirky holes and the staff is friendly... and... More

It's reasonably cheap, the layout isn't bad, but--almost predictably--the condition isn't top notch, although really, the parts that mattered were in pretty good shape. The greens rolled smooth, despite a lot of play, the bunkers had good, dense sand and the fairways were a little patchy. The only really scruffy parts were the tee boxes, which looked like they had... More

One of the worst courses I have ever played. Terrible tee box conditions, terrible fairway conditions, most greens were decent. My group was almost hit on 5 holes on the front 9 due to the course layout. If you play here be prepared to watch your back. Bobby Jones would roll over in his grave if he knew this course... More

great course, lacked club house amenities though. The thirty minute drive is still worth the trip to this facility. It is part of history.

Love this place - goto one of the online brokers like Golfnow or EZtee (SP) to get a deal. Have been many many times and its a great public course with no fuss and great greens thats easy to get to. The prices are unbeatable and although the guys at the clubhouse act like they own the place all they... More

While I'm not a huge fan of playing golf, the Bobby Jones Golf Course is a lovely course! It's in an unexpected location in the middle of several neighborhoods on the boarder of Buckhead and Midtown but that just gives it a certain family-oriented feeling. After living on the edge of the course for many years, it's was one of... More

however not a great course by any means, it was built in 1932. But for me that was the beauty of it, simple layout with a few quirky if not difficult holes it can be tight in spots. The greens were in good shape. I havent played the course till now in probably 20 years but wanted to do something... More
