I stopped by The King Center on an afternoon with some free time while in Atlanta on a business trip. I was grateful for the exhibits and presentations throughout the complex, including the detailed Rose Garden outside. My only critique is that much of the space seemed incredibly dated and need of modernization. Still worth a visit!

Enjoyed learning the true history of a legend. This museaum offers a rich historic view into the life of M.L.K. and ends with a walk two blocks away to his childhood home where the original furniture and clothes can be viewed. N

Very close to both the church and his birth home. A very powerful experience. There is a lot of reading so I wouldn't recommend for small children.

It's only a small centre but worth a visit. It's very close to the church where Dr. King taught at during his time in the city. The eternal flame burns opposite the graves of Mr and Mrs King and when we were there they were playing the I Have A Dream speech over loud speakers. Some very interesting if small... More

A must see while in the Atlanta area. Very interesting history. I learned more about the Dr. Martin Luther King than what has been aired in the media.

The atmosphere is surreal. This is the final resting place for Dr. and Mrs. Martin Luther King, Jr. and there is a souvenir shop.

A wonderful memorial the MLK Jr. Just reading some of the speeches etched on the wall was very gratifying. It is a very well kept and honorable memorial that I think he and Coretta would be proud of.

"Enjoy" is the wrong word, facinating is much better. I was quite young when MLK was assassinated, but the memories came flooding back. Many of the exhibits, like the lunch counter sit-in and the freedom riders bus seats were quite immersive. Facts wall-paper the exhibit. Following the U.S. civil rights struggle is a gallery devoted to worldwide rights struggles. This... More

I have been to the King Center before. Whenever I'm near I make it a point to visit a pay homage to a great leader. The place is accessible to the disabled and kids. It packs a lot of History and information. I would recommend this place the next time your in Atlanta Georgia. The place is a museum of... More

Beautiful area to visit the burial site for Dr and Mrs. King. An eternal flame with speeches playing in the background. So glad I made it here.
