We're not museum people normally, but as there wasn't a lot to see in Motril, we tried this one. And what a surprise, it was really nice and well maintained. Really interesting, we also got to see a video and got guided by very friendly staff who knew what he was talking about.

At first it looked a bit boring, only information on posters. After reading it it became more interesting. The moving replica of a sugarcane press is really impressive, interesting to see how sugar was made, how much effort it took. Reduced entry €2, normal €3.

A very well explained and a real good lay-out of the Museum. Very interesting also for kids. Everything about sugar cane and how it was processed.

Really found it interesting and educational. Excellent guided tour. A little tough to find the place as there is no signage that we could find.

We found this really interesting, the guide was out so a charming employee apologised for his English and did the tour. He was great.
