Impressive even when they are not blowing water out of the vents. I wouldn't come particularly far and wide for them but if you're reading this you're probably already on some sort of road trip on the north coast so its worth stopping at. a...More

Definetely a place worth a visit and a 1.3 km walk. Honesty these big black holes are quite scary even without strong sea because you can heard the ocean and the wind inside.

Enjoyed our visit to this scenic coastal area. We obviously went hoping to see the spray shooting out of the blow holes but conditions weren't right. We did hear the 'dragon' roaring though through several holes and crevices. The whole area is scenically beautiful and...More

the area is beautiful but the main feature are the bufones and unfortunately very little information is available so it was disappointing to travel one and a half hours to find that they are only visible at high tide and with plenty of waves ,...More

You may not see the plume of spray that is so iconic (needs certain tide conditions and particular weather. In any event this is a lovely spot and the coast is very scenic. You will be able to find some windy holes that seem to...More

We got the train out from Llanes 1121 am to Pendueles and walked along the path back to Llanes, about 12 miles. We passed the Bufones on route, the noise was quite disturbing but no sign of spray. Hear the power of the ocean. The...More

The Bufones or blow holes are amazing, atop the cliffs yet when the tide is right you will get a blow of the sea coming right up. Truly amazing

Looking for things to do in Ribadesella we stumbled upon this on tripadvisor. It's not easy to find without gps, but if the weather allows it offers a nice view and even a picnic area in the West side

The road is not the best but persevere. When you get there, providing the sea has a swell, be amazed at the spouts of water flying into the sky from the ground. The sound is also quite amazing
