Good museum in a fantastic location. The Iberian remnants are the real reason for visiting. The huge defensive walls are particularly impressive, compared with some sites a lot remains and it's not difficult to envisage how the town functioned. We visited in late October and as well as being sparsely attended for seasonal reasons (but not neglected) the visit was... More

Impressive ruins of an ancient Iberian civilisation. Well explained in English with a free audio guide. New for this year is a 3D short film recreating the city as it appeared just before it fell to the Romans.

Situated in the middle of an ancient Iberian settlement, the museum is small but well worth a visit. A free guide in english is available to read as you walk round. The history is interesting and well explained. Boards dotted around the site explain what you are looking at, so you can really understand the site. It is fascinating to... More

The ruins here are impressive. You walk around and marvel at how these people lived over 6000 years ago. If your in the area, have a look

It's nice too see such archaeological site far away from historical big cities, but we probably need 2 hours max to make a round outside and visit the museum. So I'll advice to visit if you are not far away from the area, but don't expect the best discover you ever made. I also thing that objects description in english... More

We discovered this ancient archaeological site more or less by accident. It was mentioned in passing in various guides to Catalonia as "an interesting Iberian site", but none gave any clue as to what "Iberian" meant in this context, nor of its antiquity. We spotted the signpost pointing to it on the minor road outside the small town of Ullastret,... More

I learned a lot touring this. There are information sheets in English at the entrance to every room, and it is really well organised. Very highly recommended.

This was one of the highlights of our trip. Although it was quite small, the atmosphere was amazing. In addition to the usual exhibitions there was an opera style cinema event happening in which short films were displayed on huge screens, coupled with opera and an amazing light show. Not to be missed.
