When in the area, the best way to see and feel the history of the area is to do the Battle Road Trail. It is not very long but truly worth every minute to take the trail....beginning in Lexington and going to Concord. Amazing trail....More

It’s a lovely path that I wished we’d have had time to walk along the whole thing. Lots of historically important sites to stop at. So beautiful.

Unobtrusive, but highly accessible trail that takes you back 250 years in American history. Let your imagination do the work for you. Nice job by the National Park Service.

This is an experience not to be missed. You can see much more of it on a bike versus walking it. The trail is very flat and there are numerous historical markers and buildings to see along the way.

Great historic road for walking or biking with your friends and family (or alone). It provides boards with historic details and pictures. The Visitors Center has a little museum and it also shows a short film (well done).

I would recommend visiting Minuteman Visitor Center to watch the film which helps the together the whole trail. Some many little details which make an interesting visit. The trail is easy walking. If you love American history this is a must visit.

As noted by others, it is much more interesting if you visit the Minuteman Visitor Center first and view the 1/2 hour multimedia presentation first. It is shown every half hour and is engaging and done very well. I did this and made the last...More

As others have said, on this trail you're walking in the footsteps of American Independence. A must-see for history buffs. The trail itself is ok for strollers, if it hasn't rained/the trail isn't mud, and is always ok for walking and jogging. There are many...More

No idea. As the prior response said it would be best to check with the National Park Service. Tip: apply insect repellent.
