Charming Toy Shop

This was a perfect spot for us to stop with our 2-year-old (who could care less about the antiques and even candy shop we visited). They had a wonderful, well laid-out selection... read more

Looking for a unique experience for toys and children's novelties...you MUST stop here. The staff is warm and welcoming ...and full of great recommendations for gifts and purchases. This is a show stopper for your child's or grandchild's upcoming birthday gift!

We were headed into Boston from Western NY and "luckily" decided to visit Concord. I'm not in the market for toys but had a few minutes and stopped in for a look. I wish I had young children or grand children. And when I do I'll stop again.

Every time I need a gift for a child, I visit the Toy Shop of Concord. THere are so many types of choices for gifts. I always find just the right item for each child and see enough toys and stuffed animals to make me wish I were a child again. The staff is wonderful and always there to help... More

This shop has great selection and caring, friendly staff who are happy to offer great suggestions. Their Lego, Calico Critter, stuffed animal, and crafty toy selection is especially great.

Was very interested on a visit to Concord to see this toy store billing itself as "America's Oldest Specialty Toy Store". I visited the store and was not impressed with the selection or customer service, but still found it interested to be in a historic toy store. Being fascinated by history, I decided to do a little research. Turns out... More

This was a perfect spot for us to stop with our 2-year-old (who could care less about the antiques and even candy shop we visited). They had a wonderful, well laid-out selection, and while all the prices might not have been comparable to Walmart, we found them similar to Toys R Us or our local toy shop back home (upstate... This little toy shop in historic Concord has a good range of products for reasonable prices. It's a great way to keep kids busy after visiting the local sites.

Rude. Rude. Rude. Leads one to wonder, why are they in the toy business if they don't like children or their parents? I live in concord and tried to buy here first because it was local and wanted to support local commerce. Found it overpriced, not that special, and the staff was hateful!

Even though it's a bit pricier than chain toy stores, The Concord Toy store has a village charm that makes you want to keep going back. I'm grateful for their outstanding service and fun gift wrap too. It is worth the extra money to have staff that love their jobs ad are ready to help you!

This cute shop, at the very center of historic Concord, is a fun place to visit if you're exploring town, but if you need that really special present for a child in your life, it is THE place to go. The Toy Shop carries a great line of upscale toys - nothing cheap or flimsy - and their (free) wrapping... More
