Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Three major buildings mark the boundary of this large, granite tiled square: the Cathedral, the facade of the Bishop's Palace and the building of the Caixa Galicia Foundation. The square is also the home to the fascinating Piscina Romana, which was discovered in 1960 and has now been restored so that its wonderful tiles can be seen through the glass covering. Entry to the Cathedral is off this square, through its magnificent Romanesque entrance door and archway. One of the key visitor locations in Lugo.

Walking with my wife and her uncle and when we saw the cathedral, the episcopal palace and the Roman pool, my wife's uncle told us that this was the Plaza de Santa María and that, despite everything, it was not so old but apparently from 1917 since before it was closed and was a garden. Nowadays you can tour, take beautiful photos, walk, admire and get to know the cathedral

There are squares and then there are squares. This was a bottom-level square and quite unattractive ... were it not for the architectural elements of the interesting cathedral for which this square is named.
There is absolutely nothing growing, nothing green, nothing other than concrete, stone, and some rather bleak and uninspired buildings.
Even the cathedral cannot cancel out the overwhelming negatives this square evokes. Blah.
