It was fun. I wouldn't have paid more than $11 per person for the tour. Kids got spooked which we thought was funny. Learned a bit about this historic town. Town itself is quaint.

The tour started late. The stories were good, the history lessons were interesting. The guide chose to scream to startle people which was unnecessary. It would have been okay if it hadn't happened more than once. Guide was not particularly friendly. This tour was just okay. I wouldn't recommend it.

Friday night tour in October was split into three groups due to crowd. $10 per person so it's a reasonable price. Our tour guide seemed to enjoy what she did but most of the stories seemed like internet chatter. Stories at each location went on too long. Tour was advertised for 730 but didn't start till 745 and ended at... More

What a great way to spend the evening! Even as a local I had no idea of all the history and haunting a which make Frederick the "most haunted city in Maryland". This is a fantastic outing for a local or tourist. Scary stories that will stay with you. Ron was an amazing tour guide, what a story teller!!

Went with a group of friends on the candlelight ghost tour of Frederick. No buildings or homes are entered. Stories are told by informative and animated "ghostly" guides (Ours was "Jean"). For those interested in local history, it is a very nice activity. For those easily bored, not a good activity. Very difficult to navigate sidewalks and streets for those... More

The tour meets in from of Brewers Alley (Restaurant/Bar) and there is a parking garage right behind the building; this is great, since parking in downtown Frederick is tight. The tour took a little over 2 hours, our guide was great, really got into the stories and she engaged every single member of the group, not easy since we were... More

I would recommend this to anyone new to Frederick and old. It's a good stop for a Friday night and a starter. A little corny but history is cool and the folks try to make it interesting. Best part is you learn a little about the area.

If you love hearing ghost stories or are into history, then a tour with Candlelight is a great way to spend an evening in beautiful historic Frederick. Our tour guide Kristina was knowledgeable and personable. The whole planning and execution of the tour was a snap. I had a group of 10 going on the tour, I called the week... More
