If you're looking for town history, culture, or things to do. Then this is where to start your planning of what to do while you visit. The old school house is now a small museum with tons of information.

A nice way to find out about the local history for free. There was a lot of free tourist brochures and magazines available.

They have the history of the first people to live in the valley . The people at the desk know the town real well and can answerer most questions . Lot of info .

The visitor center's Lincoln Room offers a chance to dress in period costumes of soldiers, officers and family members and have pictures taken. It's a real hit with the kids.

The visitor center is in an old school house with a small museum that we found interesting. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Lots of information.

Camp Verde Historical Society and visitors center is the correct name. It is housed in the original school building that was built in 1914. As a reviewer noted on March 6th, I believe that people are getting the 2 visitor centers mixed up. The photos...More
