Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We drove through the town and then parked on the seafront in a large car park. Not tarmacced, and no charge.
A stroll along the seafront led us to the old port from where the view back along the beach towards Moraira was typically Mediterranean.
The numerous cafes and restaurants were busy and we stopped for a quick coffee. Surprised at the price – 3.60 Euros for 2 coffees.
Ideal for a day out.

Visiting the Arenal Promenade in Jávea is an experience that encapsulates the soul of Spain. This beachside promenade is more than just a scenic walkway; it's a vibrant hub of activity, offering a slice of Spanish life that's hard to resist.

The beach itself is impeccably clean, with soft golden sand and clear, inviting waters. It's a paradise for both sunbathers and water sports enthusiasts. The promenade is beautifully maintained, adorned with palm trees and lined with a variety of shops and restaurants. These eateries offer an impressive selection of local and international cuisines, each with outdoor seating that provides stunning views of the Mediterranean.

What sets Arenal Promenade apart, though, is the atmosphere. There's a palpable energy in the air, whether it's the laughter of families enjoying a day at the beach, or the soft melodies of live music from local performers in the evenings. And speaking of evenings, do not miss the breathtaking sunset, as the sky over the Mediterranean transforms into a palette of colors.

In summary, Arenal Promenade in Jávea offers a mix of natural beauty, lively culture, and delicious food, making it a must-visit location for any traveler. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and spend a day—or several—here. You won't regret it!

It is always lovely in the evenings when the sun doesn’t make it so uncomfortable. It’s clean and safe. The only thing that would make it perfect is more variety! Every market stall seems identical in a run of 3 so: plastic or unmarked metal jewellery, leather belts and purses or the same batik style tops and skirts. More artisan stalls of deferent styles would be lovely! Same with the shops - all either mediocre bars or touristy hats and sunglasses places. We do like it very much but always leave slightly disappointed with purses still full as there is nothing we want to buy.

This beach and promenade are very clean and spacious and attractive for all ages. It obviously has work done every evening judging by the tracks that were on the sand when we were there. It is a very pleasant walk with lots of shops, cafes and restaurants on one side and fantastic views on the other.

What a beautiful well kept beach with plenty of bars restaurants & shops. There is no sun beds, but the sand is soft & there is plenty of it. A stunning beach.
We watched every evening from our apartment the beach being cleaned. It was spotless..

Lovely easy walking area with bars, restaurants and small shops. Kids on small bikes etc are safe here but it does give a limit for speed etc.

I thought it would be quieter this year - but still very busy. Some shops have changed and there’s a more refined feel to the promenade. A mix of many people with masks and many without - but most masked within shops (but not when seated in restaurants). Restaurant meant to have 50% indoor capacity - but looks like more. Sunday evening was particularly busy. Parking still a lottery with the usual search for a back street parking place

Beautiful beach and great selection of bars and restaurants. We were there in October 2020 and July 2021. The place is very busy in July and quiet but good in October. The restaurants are offering great choice of cuisines. We would definitely come back.
