Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Views of the "Illa del Portitxol", Portitxol Island, and natural beach "Els Pallers".
From here you can take a walk and visit the beach.

Beautiful walk, with amazing scents from the flora and fauna en route. Followed SatNav to Carrer de Illa and parked up by the cross marking the Mirador. Walked up to the Prim along a well-marked path - only just over 1km - trainers were fine. Only saw one other human en route. Stunning views.

A beautiful walk with stunning sea and beach views. Some rough terrain but most of the walk is relatively flat with a few areas of boulders and walking close to cliff edges. You are rewarded with magnificent views and beautiful wildflowers along the way.

We had a brief stop off whilst exploring the coast and decided to come back another time to enjoy the walks and the stunning views. However the day we wanted to go the heavens opened so rain stopped play ! Definitely on the list for the next visit.

Each year we try to do the "9" miradores of Javea, the Creu de Portitxol is special since it offers some nice walks or to Cap Prim or to some nice veiws on the L'Illa

Located on the opposite corner of a sharp right hand bend on the Javea to Cabo de la Nao/Playa Granadella road it can be easy to miss if you’re the driver and focused on the road ahead. I made a quick uturn and pulled up alongside the cross. A Mirador is described as “a balcony designed to command an extensive outlook” and this is what you get from here. There are trails down to the cove and further along the hillside but it was blowing a gale the late December day we visited and so didn’t stray too far. Not sure about the Cross’s history but it’s a good place to stop for a while and enjoy the views. There’s an information board detailing other Miradors around Javea.

One of a number of stop offs we made when touring the area on a damp wet Saturday afternoon. Visibility improved whilst we were there. We managed to park and enjoy the vista for a while.

Javea doesn't stop to amaze us with its stunning cliffs and breathtaking views. For best photo opportunities in Portixol, make your way down the mountain, there's a marked path, and enjoy the views of Javea town and the little Calas all around that area. Good way to work on your fitness too, whilst enjoying the amazing views.

This is a great spot to stop on your way to Cabo de la Nao - great view of the beautiful coat and worth the effort finding a parking spot nearby

This interesting place is located between Javea and Cap de La Nau.

The walking ways below the cross are a little ruff, but you can walk to the edge of the cliffs and you will be rewarded with some stunning views. Good walking shoes are recommended, though I have seen many people there with sandals.
