We decided to go on an excursion to Yedigöller National Park (which means Seven Lakes in Turkish) in November 2012. We reached there after a grueling drive from city of Bolu. It was a dirt forest road where you can not drive with a speed...More

Beautiful forest and hidden small lakes are worth to see. However, try to avoid weekends. Noisy crowds, crying children, cellphones, electronic toys destroy the ambience. Parking lot is far from necessary capacity. Hence, cars occupy walking pathways and interfere with pedestrians' joy.

Well disguised by geology. Fabulous colors and their great reflections on a chain of lake serially connected. Good national park for daily visit or camping. Be prepared to a serpentine road to get there. Highly recommended to see.
