- Eden OHaringey, United Kingdom4 contributionsEasy, spacious and lovely sea.Avoid motorsports at far right end of beach. Can be a bit busy down that end. Access is easy along the beach and the best areas are central to left. Near Coco Beach Restaurant.Visited August 2022Written 24 January 2023
- Debs CCardiff, United Kingdom88 contributionsRuinedThe ridiculous amount of trucks, and concrete pumps going through the town, marina and mountains has made it impossible to walk or ride around safely. The dust is choking. The sun is blocked by the clouds of dust from the digging up of the mountains. The sea is like mud for at least 1000m out. It is not a good place to visit this year.Visited April 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 12 April 2023
- vinnie vTotnes, United Kingdom7 contributionsIcmeler yes roads being built but still got its charmThey are building qnd making new roads people moaning but its a start of the season so they are preparing for the summer. It hasn't spoilt icmeler but some people think they are special and deserve builders to stop just for them lol If you wanted shopping on your doorstep then choose marmaris resorts if you want close by shopping and more peaceful area choose lotus hotel or hotels directly at icmeler. If you hate road works or fact that these Turkey resorts are getting bigger I suggest you don't bother coming hereVisited April 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 17 April 2023
- UmarBroGreater Manchester, United Kingdom54 contributionsQuiet little village good for shoppingVisited Icmeler a few times whilst staying in Marmaris. A lovely quite small gem of a place. Convenient to get to aswell by Dolmus at a cost of $1/15 TRY. Shopping in Icmeler is really good with plenty of shops & good bargains to be had usually by haggling. Nice beach too where you can get a boat ride to/from Marmaris.Visited May 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 26 May 2023
- bigtruck61Staffordshire, United Kingdom840 contributionslovely beach ,but busyBeautiful beach ,bit does get absolutely packed to say the least. beds are free ,but your expected to buy drinks and food from the hotel café that has that particular piece of beach. lovely sea ,very warm and clear. sand gets very hot, maybe wear sandals.Visited July 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 4 July 2023
- Jim RHallington, United Kingdom2 contributionsAwesome beachWe went to this beach almost every day, subbed and parasol at the waters edge. The sea is clear and beautifully warm. Also you can order food and drinks which are delivered to you on a table beside the sunbeds. Fab beachVisited July 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 30 July 2023
- lisar_uk00London, United Kingdom12 contributionsQuiet beach option…..The beach front is lined with sun loungers attached to various different hotels and restaurants - be aware some of the loungers are only for hotel guests. Worth checking first. Others will be free - with the assumption you buy drinks or food from the restaurant it’s attached too. Would strongly recommend walking further down towards Marmaris (opposite end of pier) towards a beach called Turunc. Loungers cost 90TL each but no one bothers you for food and drink. Spent 6 hrs here and one local offered sweet corn another shell fish. Can recommend the sweetcorn and it provides excellent bait for attracting the fish in water. The water is crystal clear and significantly deeper - approx 10 m by the boundary rope. Can see all the way to the sea bed.Visited August 2023Travelled with familyWritten 10 August 2023
- Jackie T35 contributionsWell worth going hereMostly its absolutely brilliant. Beach is gritty and not sand but this isnt a major issue. Sea is warm and clear alot of the time but sometimes can appear murky with small bits of litter, locals says this is run off from the mountains after the massive fires they suffered a couple of years ago. Many beach restaurants and bars with free sunbeds and waiting staff along the promenade, good local food to suit any taste. Well worth getting settled for the day.Visited September 2023Travelled with familyWritten 19 September 2023
- TheSpencers71Tamworth, United Kingdom14 contributionsLovely beach, a nice relaxing dayA lovely beach, fine shingle, not sandy, that didn't bother us, though. Have a walk a long the promanard and you can find somewhere best for you. There are some parts that are packed in, like sardines, and lots of other areas that are more spaced out. Most of the bars along the seafront have their own sunbeds and if you eat and drink with them you can have access to their WiFi, showers and alot of them offer a free ride back to your hotel. There is a part of the beach that is free but doesn't offer any shade for your little ones, we came mid-September, and we had temperatures of nearly 40 degrees, so be mindful. The views are amazing, lots of boat trips you can go on. Water sports are available too. We used the sunbeds at Babam, and the food was lovely, service to your sunbed so you can just relax. Lovely relaxing day.Visited September 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 28 September 2023
- Christine HLeeds, United Kingdom32 contributionsPablo beachJust love this beach. Pablo who manages the section of beach we used is a lovely man. He makes you feel really welcome and I'd so friendly. The cost of two sunbeds and parasol is very cheap and worth every penny. We used this beach 12 days out of 14 and would definitely return.Visited September 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 5 October 2023

Beach is full of loungers with loads of free ones. It is much better and calmer experience than Marmaris beach.
Cafes give you a free lounger if you buy any food or drings. We bought a pizza two cold drinks and an ince cream for 470 lira. Food was good and servuce was very friendly and welcoming. Would definatelly recommend and would visit myself again if we come back.

Lots of sun beds in lots of different areas, just buy one drink and you can sit there all day. Boats to Marmaris and back or the bus, so plenty of options.

Most of the sunbeds are owned by the restaurants behind , you get them free if you buy food and drinks from them and you will be served on the beach . Our favourite was Tiki Beach past the Maris hotel , very clean and not jammed together like sardines. Tiki beach plays chilled music and have the best food .

Hi what will the weather be like the beginning of April please and is there much open at that time of the year ? Tia

I have been in other parts of Turkey in April, but not in Iclemer, but I am sure the weather will be warm, and certainly warm enough to sunbathe. In most of Turkey, the holiday season is from May to October, in April it will just be getting underway again, so may still be a bit quiet.
The southern resorts, from Antalya to Alanya are much busier at that time, as they don't tend to close down so much, the weather is always good, but even here not everything will be fully open in April.
hi, i would like to know what time the first dolmus and last dolmus is in Marmaris and Icmeler

Tin tins bar a good place to start for good price food and drink. All places around are good and fair enough. 12 to 14 lira will buy beer or wine at most, food from 6 lira to 50 lira depending on what one wants.
