About
The Massage Hut is a unique and tranquil massage studio based in a peaceful clearing on the grounds of The Grove hotel in Cromer, a busy seaside town. We provide holistic massage treatments seven days a week, tailored to your individual need, whether that is to reduce stress and tension, relieve aches and pains or just give you some time to yourself. The space is booked exclusively for each treatment, meaning you can focus on enjoying your treatment and we can focus on you. The Grove has a cosy bar, a spacious lounge and a dining area where you and your family can enjoy some award-winning food as part of your visit. If you choose to stay, there are a range of beautifully decorated rooms, self catering lodges and yurts for summer glamping! Facilities also include a pool and a children's play area. There is plenty of parking on site, and we are only a short walk from town, with access through the gardens and onto the beach. We look forward to seeing you soon.

I had an appointment for 2pm for a 60 minute full body massage. On arrival it was explained that the member of staff I was to see had phoned in to say she wouldn't be in. There was another girl standing in but she was running 10 to 15 minutes behind. I offered to rearrange but was told there was no need. I was taken into the room around 2.15pm. The girl apologised and proceeded to give me a massage. It was lovely. When she'd finished my back she asked how I was feeling, I said relaxed. She said great, now don't get up too soon, just take your time, then she left. I had expected her to say turn over. When I got up I checked the time and it was 2.52pm. I got a 35 minute half body massage. Yes, it was lovely and relaxing but I really did not appreciate them making up their time delay on my hour. I mentioned this to the girl on my departure but all she did was fluster and say something about she thought I was late. No offer of compensation. Very disappointed.

Excellent massage! I had a full consultation beforehand and went over any back struggles I was having. The therapist tended to these immediately and gave me aftercare advice on what I should be practicing to help correct these issues! If I am ever in Cromer again, I will deffo book an appointment in! Fantastic service!

My stepmother had never ever had a massage so for her 78th Birthday I bought her a voucher for The Massage Hut.
So glad I did as she absolutely loved it and now wants more.
This is an ideal place to go as the setting is lovely and Christy was so welcoming from my very first email (which she replied to straight away - always a good sign) to when we arrived last week.
Yes I could have easily booked one in Norwich here we both live but booking The Massage Hut meant it was more of a day out. A 15 minute walk though the woods to the Coastal Path and then into Cromer was a delight.
Highly recommend a visit to Christy in this beautiful part of our County.

The Massage Hut is a lovely spot in a beautiful setting. The treatment that I received felt personal and tailored to my needs. The areas that I wanted concentrated on were listened to and then seen through during the treatment, and I was given really useful advice to take away. Very highly recommended!

A friend bought me a £60 gift voucher for 50th birthday. Voucher is noted as valid from Jan 2020. My friend lives 10 miles away. I live several hours away but the plan was to go to the hut when visiting my local friend. Unfortunately she had to move to Scotland with work and I don't have a car. Next month I will be in Cromer on holiday so I rang up to ask about using the voucher but was told no as they wouldn't be able to find the code on the system and also 'the money has gone already'. I think it would be helpful to have the expiration date clearly noted on the voucher. I was made to feel quite small when I rang up and left the call embarrassed. Accounting rules aside, they banked that £60 and would have earned profit and revenue on it for no service provided.

Hi Angela, firstly apologies if you felt embarrassed after the phone call, it certainly wasn't my intention. It has been a tricky time with vouchers issued during the pandemic, and although all of our vouchers state 12 month validity, we extended this by an additional 12 months in order to allow our clients time to use them, despite us only being closed for 6 months in total due to Covid restrictions. This means you had until January 2022, 18 months in total, to either use your voucher or gift it to someone else to use. It is unfortunate that your trip to Cromer was delayed for personal reasons, but at some point our voucher records are archived and money paid for them is accounted for and is no longer 'pending'. We feel that 24 months is reasonable for this.

A warm welcome by the staff at the grove and our massage therapist, a thoughtful and considerate consultation followed by a very relaxing massage, a perfect start to a long weekend by the sea, highly reccomend.

What a great experience! An hour massage with a thorough consultation prior to treatment that ensures the massage is tailored to your needs. All on a very comfortable large heated massage bed ! Friendly and professional therapist Christy. I will rebook.

Great massage at a very reasonable rate. Lovely little hut under the trees. They take time to understand your needs before commencing the treatment. My wife said the head, hands and feet massage was the best she had ever had.
