Amazing collection of animals, that seem content - well worth visiting and supporting
Oct 2020
It was amazing to see animals, some quite rare, in a small collection, like this. The cages/enclosures were very spacious for the animals, and gave visitors a very good view of them. The staff were very helpful and spent time answering our many questions. The animals looked very healthy and content, a big plus with enclosed animals. We enjoyed our trip imensely (I know, not spelt right!) and we would recommend to others, as well as visit again, ourselves. Big thanks to Hannah Clarke for showing us around.

Not worth the money, sadly

I’m not one to leave negative reviews generally, but sadly I struggled with this place. It’s very run down and it simply wasn’t worth £35 for a family. The cafe was very good and there was plenty parking.

Very impressed
Sep 2020 • Family
Not the biggest zoo but that's reflected in the price. Very reasonable entry fee. Plenty to see. Clean and a great one way system in place. Large and clean toilets. Cafe currently take away, reasonable priced too as was the gift shop. Takes about an hour to get round. Can go round as much as you want. Friendly staff. Decent enclosures for the animals. Lovely time had by all.

A brilliant experience

Cromer zoo - what a lovely experience. The zoo was spotless, staff were helpful and the animals were beautiful. Definitely will be going there again with our grand daughter.

So much to see, well laid out and friendly staff. Definitely a highlight of the local area. Nice cafe and gift shop. Animals all looked happy and well cared for. A few even roamed free!

Well laid out with a lot of interesting occupants.

Booked (as you have to now); zoo was well signed from Cromer and the car park larger than needed at the moment. A fixed route had been laid out (social distancing) and I think a lot of thought had been put into the route. Lots of interesting birds and animals; I liked the mara which just seemed to wander as they pleased. Couldn't see the capybara, perhaps on holiday. Pleasant staff, lots of sunshine; a very pleasant day.

Family visit
Sep 2020
Me and my family visited whilst staying in Cromer, literally the other side of the road to the Zoo. We knew it wasn't going to be the biggest of Zoo's in comparison to say Banham or Chester but the atmosphere was relaxed and the staff were very friendly. Toilets are right by the entrance and the Covid layout is clear by the use of red tape around trees indicating the routes. It was lovely to see the natural wildlife alongside the animal enclosures. We came across a few of the staff feeding the monkeys, who were only too happy to answer 1 or 2 of our questions. The animals seemed happy and the Mara weren't bothered by us taking the odd picture. Would recommend for all ages! Will revisit if in the area again.

Refreshing and informative

Beautifully set out in the forest. We really enjoyed our visit and couldn't believe we had all those beautiful big cats and other animals right on our 'doorstep'. We have also bought annual membership so we can pop in regularly.
