Visited Amazona Zoo whilst on holiday in the local area. There is ample free car parking which is very near to the main entrance. We found the admission prices very good value for money. Although Amazona is a fairly small zoo, it has plenty of...More

WEnt on 15th October 2010. Rats running round the zoo. Animals looked sad , bored and cold. Caferteria was freezing , doors wide open, no heat . Staff not very helpful. I had been looking forward to it but would neither recommend or go again.

Slightly rough round the edges and feels a little run down but we spent a fun couple of hours here. A few reviews have mentioned the state/size of the enclosures, particularly with the big cats - they are certainly not the biggest you’ll see but...More

Absolutely loved this Zoo. Loved the theme of South American Animals. My favourite being the Jaguar! Really well put together. Definitely be coming back!

I came here with my niece and nephew (2 and 6), we only spent a few hours here and there's not many things to do. The kids got bored quite quickly. Some animals had small areas to walk around in and some of the smaller...More

We took our 2 year old to Amazona for the day. We found the animal experience a bit of a let down. It is difficult to know what is wrong but I think it is several factors that though small on their own, together made...More

This is a well thought out and fascinating zoo with lots to interest the whole family. Only a short walk from Cromer itself and small enough to not be overwhelmed.

Our day was generally OK, the kids loved the play area the best and the Maras running loose. All the animals and enclosures looked clean and mostly suitable. We found the mountain Lion and Jaguar pacing up and down upsetting but there are boards by...More

We went as a group of three adults. Had a great time. It’s not Chester Zoo, but my goodness it’s pretty darn good for a small zoo in Cromer! Lots of unusual animals I’ve never heard of too. I highly recommend the place!
