5 stars for the fresh-made cider donuts - some of the best I have ever had. (Not sure if they are only seasonal, so call first to confirm...)

Though it can be fun during apple picking season, you also need to be really patient since this place fills up and the parking gets out of control busy. The staff is friendly and there is a lot to do with young kids. Since mine...More

Bought 4 chicken pies for my family giving myself a break from cooking. I believe they were about $13. Each. Right away I discovered two chicken bones in my pie. One the size of a fingernail and the other one a breast bone about three...More

My asian-pinoy idea of a farm doesn't come close to what this one is. If this is what all farms look like in NJ, I'd love to visit any of them any day. We visited right before they closed for renovation. But the homey-ness, friendliness...More

Back when, Wightman's felt like the country and boasted great cider and donuts. Somewhere in the last few years, they decided the mobs coming for pumpkin time and mazes deserved a 7/11 like farm stand. Best avoid, especially during harvest time.

We came here for a "fall fun day" with our siblings and our young kids. We picked Wightman's because we thought PYO Apples was free. When we arrived we saw what a total zoo the place was. There was a long line to buy tickets...More

This became a "hidden gem" for us to take the kids on a hay ride and pumpkin picking each fall a few years ago. We arrived yesterday morning, with the whole family eagerly anticipating this fun annual family ritual. When we arrived, it was quite...More

Obviously a popular place for a reason, quality and well kept location, not their first pony ride. Unfortunately, perhaps a sign of the times, literally, they had all of these very stand-off-ish type signs everywhere! The first thing you see when you park is some...More

Since it was just us adults we didn't venture into the corn maze or the hayride. But it seemed there was plenty to do for families besides the Apple picking. There were all kinds of pumpkins, gourds, and decorations. A store to buy jams, jellies,...More

Wightman's is my go-to for farm fresh produce, specialty cheeses & meats. They are always busy on fall weekends for apple picking, pumpkin picking and hayrides.
