Overall good facilities. Parking a bit haphazard. Grounds in good order and equipped for young children with supervision The downside exception of some (a few) visitors driving too fast, knowing young children around as they were arriving or leaving

We were in the area with some time to burn and decided to go here, what a nice kept place it is, wildlife, boating lake, cafe, parking pic-nic areas would be worth a visit on a good day.

No, it isn't allowed. There are many swans and ducks on the loch who would be disturbed to put it lightly by dogs splashing about. Some swans are alarmed by dogs being walked on the paths alongside the loch. Hope this helps!

Hi the park is free with various places that you can walk . ie around the loch through the woods or at the back of the park there is a field that you can walk which leads you to the wood at the back of the lochl
