We went on a damp (then wet) day. Even so, most of the animals were around, particularly the domestic ones (goats, ponies, ducks, etc). Several more exotic animals (lemurs, meerkats, coatimundi, etc) also around. The hatchery, although with no chicks due to the time of...More

Auchingarrich is more of a uk domestic animal farm with one or two exceptions. Lots of walks and good child play area. The restaurant although small provides some lovely food at reasonable prices. Well worth a visit anytime.

Went here with our grandchildren and had a really enjoyable time. There is so much to do and see here. The children loved all the small animals and they loved being able to hold some of them. Nice café as well.

Found this place when looking for a day out that had indoor stuff to do (it was a typical rainy Scottish day). A nice mixture of animals to see, and 2 indoor play barns, for when the weather got to bad. And a great outdoor...More

Yes you can bring a dog but you must keep it on a lead. There are signs on some of the cages asking you not to take your dog near the cage so watch out for them. It’s well worth a visit.

We visited on a nice day and spent about five hours. We Took a picnic and used the picnic tables at the outdoor park area. My five year old son was happy at the park for 1hr - 1.5hr.
