Mount Rushmore and Black Hills Bus Tour with Live Commentary

316 reviews
In addition to Mount Rushmore, the Black Hills of South Dakota are home to the Crazy Horse Memorial and the beautiful landscapes of Custer State Park—sight many visitors miss if visiting on their own. Round-trip transportation, and included entrance fees make this guided tour a good option for visiting top Black Hills sights in just one day, all with the benefit of a guide to provide insight into local history and culture as you go.

if you go to Mount Rushmore, you will probably walk this trail, this is the only trail in the area, it's any easy trail, but with some stairs, there are some information board along the trail, so that you can learn more about this place. There is also a studio, ranger will give talk at regular time period in summer (not sure if it has it in winter time). It also has a Youth exploration area, but due to COVID, it is closed.

Nice wooded trail with unique vistas up to the Rushmore sculptures. Includes historical markers and original equipment used during the construction.

We went on the Presidents Walking Path below the monument, which gave us fantastic close-up views and descriptions of each presidents history.

Allows a closer and underneath look at the sculpture work. Truly a work of master craftmanship. Educational and insightful.
