A beautiful natural spectacle

I had decided on a run up onto the Berwyns from the road leading to Pistyll Rhaeadr. I had seen the falls marked on the map but had no idea what to expect. As we left the road... read more

As a keen hobbyist photographer, this is a paradise I spent ages at this beautiful place, the bejewelled moss covered tree roots, stones and branches It's a joy

I had decided on a run up onto the Berwyns from the road leading to Pistyll Rhaeadr. I had seen the falls marked on the map but had no idea what to expect. As we left the road and started our run up the side of the valley the fall came into view. Even from that distance it looked hugely... More

Decided to visit here on a cold February day as we had seen quite a bit of rain we thought it would add to the drama of the place and we were not disappointed. The falls were flowing well, roaring with water and the air filled with spray, even the short about 20 minutes walk to the top steep on... More

We live near the waterfall so have the luxury of walking to it nearly every day. Well worth a visit, especially when it's been raining.

After a long journey we arrived and parked in the tea room car park. We both needed to use the toilets but they were boarded up and looked a real eyesore. We then proceeded to the tea rooms to purchase a car parking ticket (£3.00) and a much needed cup of coffee. However the tea rooms were closed with no... More

Lond drive up a narrow single track road but well worth the trip. The fall is spectacular and the surrounding area picturesque.

The visit to Wales's tallest waterfall was well worth the drive. Your first view of this stunning natural feature is as you drive towards it up a single track lane. Awe inspiring. There are lots of passing places on the lane and we were lucky that it was quite quiet and only encountered 3 other cars, but can see when... More

We took a detour on our way to stay in Llanwrst to visit this waterfall. We are so glad we did. I think being a Monday on a cold January day worked in our favour as it was very quiet. Reading previous comments, I dont think I would risk visiting in Summer as its a very remote location on a... More

Beautiful waterfalls but too much dog mess. Both in pooh bags and on the paths. I find it hard to believe that people can be so ignorant as to use pooh bags but then throw them in the bushes. It's as bad as the people not cleaning up at all. If you're going to bring your dog, clear up and... More
