After reading a very glossy website, we decided to visit these stunning waterfalls. It stated £2 for parking and also painted an idyllic setting to enjoy cafe facilities. On arrival, a rather abrupt man demanded £4 to park when website and signage stated £2. Toilet block was encased by fences and turnstiles which were 20p to get into ( not... More

Went to see the waterfall while staying in Oswestry at Easter and found the scenery well worth the drive.Small cafe serving drinks and food is a welcome rest after walking around. The roads that lead to the area are at times very narrow and we had some difficulty when meeting oncoming traffic.

If in the area make sure you visit this waterfall. Amazinh scenery from both the bottom and the top. There is a nice 20-25 min walk to the top, definitely worth doing. The cafe at the bottom is good, tasty food, reasonably priced. If you drive make sure you park BEFORE you get to the fall as there is a... More

The waterfall itself is beautiful and definitely worth the trip. I've been going for years and always looked forward to a hot drink and a slice of cake in the cafe at the bottom. Sadly the car park price has doubled to £4. And the staff in the cafe were very rude. Well one of them was anyway. Worst tea... More

After visiting the falls many years ago, l was looking forward to taking my elderly mother for her birthday. Now whilst l know it is not disabled friendly , l thought lunch would be nice sat watching the falls in a beautiful setting. WRONG ! Outside was extremely busy, so we went inside to a bitterly cold tea room with... More

Waterfall is lovely, £4 parking seemed steep considering we've previously paid £2. Food, frozen fish and chips for almost £8 each. Lovely walk but eat in the village and park in the lane

Wow, what a place! Visited on a very sunny and warm Sunday morning, road leading up is very narrow but plenty of passing places. The car park at the farm / cafe is £4 but who minds paying to be able to park so close. We had a good look round and the energetic ones in the party walked right... More

The winding single track road to find this place is well worth the effort. However I would suggest that you park your car wherever you see a space on a lay-bys at the end otherwise you have to pay £4 . The food at the cafe was ok - good salad with the lasagne and my son liked the pie.... More

My husband and I visited the waterfall today and only planned to stay long enough to grab a rest break at the cafe as we were on our motorbike, maximum half hour stay. When we arrived the car park fee was £4 so we said we would park outside on the road, where several cars had parked, as we wouldn't... More
