This park is a great place to bring the kids (as there is a play ground there), or picnic lunch by the creek or just walk thru on the way to the Mill Valley Library. There is a circular stand of redwoods that is quite majestic and a re-creation of the original "Wood Mill" heavy timber building. There is always... More

Quaint park full of redwood trees right in Mill Valley. A creek runs through the park and it's a great place for families. A short walk from downtown Mill Valley. Right next to the public library. Beautiful, natural spot.

Visit this little park, worth the walk through the redwoods. There was a little park area with swings for the kids and a creek . Enjoyed it!

Beautiful grove of old redwoods right next to the Mill Valley Library and the beginning of the Dipsea Trail. Land around the creek is very eroded and creek degraded by too much use. Also many invasive plants, but local groups are working to restore the habitat.

Attended the Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival this past weekend, September 17 & 18. What an incredible weekend enjoying the magnificent redwoods. The smell of fall was in the air. Enjoyed looking at all the artists creations as well as the visual and olfactory stimulation. All 5 senses were tantalized!!! (There were food and libation booths at the perimeter). It... More

The park is a lovely place to picnic and see some of the old railroad remnants. It's surrounded by redwoods and offers a cool respite on a hot day.

Old Mill Park is full of hidden forts and castles, gnomes peeking round the fallen redwoods, fairies whirling through the brittle leaves piled high on the forest floor, and other myriad enchantments that captivate the young and young at heart. The peace of this magestic sanctuary is not to be missed. It was here long before and long enjoyed prior... More

Playground, stream, and trails through the Redwood trees. My children loved exploring as did I. It is right next to the Mill Valley library, which is very pretty. Well worth a visit. See the Redwood trees without huge crowds. Let the kids blow some steam off from site seeing or have a picnic.

Very neat little park in the redwoods. Great place to relax. Nice play area for children. There's a couple areas where a group of people could get together.

This is a very nice park with a playground for children. It's tucked away very close to downtown Mill Valley and easy to miss. A great place to take carry out or a picnic. Love sitting among the redwoods next to a stream. The nearby library is also interesting to see.
