Our trip was quick with only 24 hours in Natchez so I carefully selected one house I most wanted to see. (That was hard to do!) Rosalie has mostly original furnishings that belonged to the families who lived in the house. That's part of its charm. It is right on the bluff overlooking the Mississippi River and is such a... This was my wife's favorite mansion due to the family history that went with the mansion and how they lived during their stay. Family furniture still in home originally. Great tour easy to view. Beautiful decorations another must to see

To get the true history of the Rosalie Mansion, it would be good to read about the history of Peter Little. It is a wonderful example of the time period of the 1850s to 1860s.

This one along with Historic Oak Hill was the best homes of the ones we toured. Rosalie was down by the Mississippi river and had many furnishings from the original owners.

A lovely spot above the great Mississippi River. Fascinating history, lovingly preserved. Knowledgeable docent.

Our guide really brought the family's experiences to life for us. You can't experience Natchez without seeing this house.

We visited Rosalie on a weekday when it was not crowded. We purchased tickets at the Gift Shop from one of the friendliest ladies we have met. THe tour guide was very knowledgeable about the home, it's history and the furnishings. This was one of the best if not the best tour we have been on.

My brother sister and I toured the house on a Wednesday (TripAdvisor won't let me put family that doesn't include young children or teens). Our tour guide was pretty low energy, really didn't seem like he was interested in being there, though he did try and faithfully answer our questions. I guess we expected to get a bit more of... I really enjoyed the home but prefer to see the local homes where you can take pictures. You can take pictures of the outside of the house but that's it. I would recommend seeing Auburn and Melrose. Those were my favorites!

One of several mansions worth visiting in Natches. Beautifully proportioned inside and out. Like the others, supported by a fraternal organization.
