Having read the biography on Marconi and loved the story and history of his feverish work to make transatlantic communication possible, I was more than pumped to view where this took place. I could picture the cliffs and the cables and the zaps of electricity...More

I had read a book earlier this year that was mostly about Marconi and his race to prove his method for long distance wireless. Was looking forward to seeing the site even though I knew the indoor exhibit wasn’t open. I was very disappointed to...More

I enjoyed the Marconi Historic Site. It is small and in some respects there isn't a huge amount to see but I am glad we visited. We had our 11-year old in tow and he didn't complain about the time spent there. Marconi's story offers...More

Marconi was the father of wireless radio communication and this is the site where his years of experiments led to success. Great little museum with clear displays, an interesting video, and some hands on learning of morse code. Well worth visiting.
