My wife and I did the private beach horseback riding tour. It was incredible. My wife loves horses - said it was the best day ever. Our guide, Albert, was kind, skilled, and helped create awesome memories for us. He even led us down jungle and beach stretches where the horses could gallop.

We had a wonderful time during our 2 hour morning group trail ride! I rode on sweet Smokey and my husband rode on headstrong Zeus. Our guide, I believe his name was Doug, was funny, knowledgeable, communicative, and did a good job at putting us at ease. We have no real riding experience and felt challenged yet comfortable as we took the horses from a slow walk, up to a fast trot! The horses are well cared for and the staff were all friendly. The view from the beach is outstanding! The guide took time to allow everyone to take pictures and we never felt rushed. All in all, this experience totally exceeded our expectations. Well worth the money, would most definitely recommend!!!

What a great time! Our guide, Doug was awesome and made the experience wonderful for my husband and our 10 year old son. I could hear our son laughing with joy the whole time. The trails and beach were gorgeous. The horses were beautiful and well loved. We rode Zeus (husband), Ginger (me) and Shamrock for our son. The horses were well trained and so smart plus really fun! The ranch and training ahead of time was fantastic. Of all of the horse riding experiences we have done this one hands down was our favorite. This is our second time coming !! We were excited to return and Doug was out trail guide again. Great friendly gentleman. This ranch cares about their horses, they are loved. The ride is beautiful and full of beaches, jungle and views galore. Doug will give you tons of info about PR local history and all about horses. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They will make sure you get great pictures. You will love the experience.

Extraordinary. Life Changing. Exceeded expectations in every respect. We will definitely be doing this again - every time we come to PR. Our guide, Doug was awesome. I (mom) had my 5 kiddos with me - 8, 14, 15, 17, and 18. All of them have not stopped talking about how surreal it was. We have been to Puerto Rico about 2 dozen times in the past 2 decades. We know the island, and this is something we never experienced. The owners take such great care of the horses - a beautiful, humane, and disciplined operation. If you only have one thing you can invest in beyond the beach, pick this. All day long. We cannot say enough great things!

One of the best rides I’ve experienced, and I ride around the world. Beautiful scenery including the beach as well as very professional, friendly staff. The Pasa Fino horses have a gentle gait, and are well cared to. Highly recommend

Perfect morning for a horseback ride. Fun to see the ocean and beach from a different perspective. Staff all very friendly from check in through the ride and dismount. Stella was a good horse and enjoyed her snacks. Would recommend with no hesitation.

It was so great getting 'back in the saddle' after a few years and the horses were excellent (well trained, responsive & smooth gaited!)! Albert was a great guide, and the 2-hour private tour was excellent for experienced riders (loved the canter on the beach!). Stunning scenery and would def. go again when visiting Rincon in the future!

Tropical Trail Rides is a gem we’ve had the pleasure of visiting twice—once when they first opened and now over 20 years later. Both experiences were phenomenal. The horses are beautiful and clearly well-cared for, and the trail and beaches are simply breathtaking. The staff are especially wonderful, with our guide, Javier, making our most recent trip truly exceptional. Bilingual and incredibly knowledgeable about the island, Javier shared fascinating insights throughout the ride and was wonderful with the children. His warm, engaging personality made the journey even more enjoyable, and his passion for both the horses and the island shines through in every interaction. Highly recommend!
