We were scheduled to do the luau but while passing on a walk one night we were extremely underwhelmed by it that we canceled. I should note this was recommended by the Four Seasons, which is why we had originally booked. Thankfully, we were within the cancellation window an the Grand hotel was super nice about it. After going to... More

We really enjoyed this luau as it had a nice combination of food, show, and a bit of history and culture. We were a group of five with varied interests and everyone had a great time. The other folks at our table were a lot of fun too. I think there are a couple of things to keep in mind.... More

We book through Costco, saved a few bucks. We were a party of 12 including 4 small kids. I was there at 4:00 pm to reserve a table, still ended up near the back, center though. The grandkids snuck up to front to watch the show. They had great seats! Typical buffet, nothing special, but they must do better on... More

We stayed in Wailea & wanted to do a Laua & I can't understand why our hotel only recommended a Laua about a 40 minute drive away when this fantastic one held at the Waldorf Astoria Grand Wailea is in walking distance of any hotel in Wailea. We booked premium tickets which gave us good seats 2nd row back. The... More

The food at this luau was very good. However the line is very very long. The servers and wait staff and bartenders could have been a little more friendly. The show was definitely unique. It was more like watching a play. But the setting was beautiful.

Really bad food! The pork was so bad smelling that I could not eat it and that's what I was looking forward to at the Luau! I've been to about 5 luaus in 3 islands in the past 18 years. The fish was over cooked, and the salad dressing was syrupy and tasked like a cheap one out of a... More

This was my first Luau since moving to Maui a year ago and I brought my parents and my sister who were visiting - we all really loved the Luau! So happy I picked this event to attend it was so entertaining and informational. We learned a lot about Maui and Hawaiian culture and had a lot of fun -... More

The dancing at the luau was top-notch. They did a great job telling the stories, and we really enjoyed the fire dancers. Our main complaint was time management. We arrived around 4:30, and the check-in process was extremely confusing because there were so many people standing around. Then we had to wait until after 5:00 to be admitted. Once admitted,... The show was fine if uninspired and the food was about what I'd expect at a nice wedding buffet. There was plenty of it but there are a lot of people at this luau so depending on where you're sitting you may have a long wait. I also was fortunate to have someone next to me in line to explain... We were booked for this luau last week and it rained all day. I was wondering if they would cancel. It was not cancelled, but moved inside.... They tell you to be there by 4:00 pm. Unfortunately you stand in line a long time. We had front table tickets and after getting our seat assignment they told us to wander... More
