Buy your tickets at Costco they are a great deal. The Luau at the grand Wailea was awesome. The event is very well staged and organized. The drinks were great and the food had many choices for everyone. If you are staying in Kehei or close by I would recommend this one as it is a little more quaint and... More

For not ever been to a luau it was good. Open bar and buffet style food. The show seemed geared for tourists. There was a high flying dancer, not sure the Polynesians high flyed in silks, but she was good ;-) Don't buy the flower leis they will sell you at the door, you will get one upon arriving. The... We went to this same luau 3 yrs ago. We were surprised to see no changes at all in the dances and pretty nearly all the same dancers. That being said, the dancers are awesome and the stories fascinating. The fire dancers at the end were the kids favorite. The food was decent, not exceptional. The pig came out of... More

Touristy experience but if you're into that kinda stuff this place is high quality. The show was professional. The food was good and the location is stunning. The love music and fire dancers are an added value. Try to sit in the middle area and with your back to the show. This way you're closer and just need to turn... More

This was a good event. We thought the night was a little slow, but had some highlights. The fire guy was amazing and there was a gymnast type part using a cloth hanging from a palm tree. We felt like a luau was a must in Hawaii, and I'd say overall is was good. That said, we didn't leave saying... More

The setting is very beautiful perfect sunset to watch on the beach before dinner starts. Drinks were very watered down. The dinner was decent but not a lot of vegetables and no fruit at all.. You'd think in Maui fruit would be on the menu. Now as for the traditional dance there definitely wasn't any. Since when did Hawaiians wear... More

Decided to do this last minute. Food was average and it was kind of boring other than the fire guy at the end. It says it starts at 4 but if you show up at 4 you'll end up waiting in line for 1 1/2 hours. Also, book it through Costco if you're a member and you can save like... More

The food was tasty but it was cleared away before you could get some more. The desserts were very average. I had a Mai Tai that tasted like watered down iced tea. I switched to wine but it was mediocre. The venders were gone the same time as the food. The show was very good but I would not pay... More

This was the first time experiencing a Luau ever. I can't wait to take my friends and family here! All the food and drinks you can handle. The fire dancers were my favorite and I highly recommend the Grand Luau if you want the best Luau experience.

If you're like me and are doing TONS of research on which luau is right for you, I'll save you time and tell you to go here! I know luaus can be touristy and they are for the most part, but this show was amazingly done. The meal was excellent and had LOTS of variety to choose from. The food... More
