Lovely beach near all the resorts. Good snorkeling and lots of turtles, Finding parking can be a challenge. Come in the morning to avoid the afternoon wind that mucks up the snorkeling. Plenty of public restrooms.

A beautiful Hawaiian beach! Not huge, but plenty of space for tourists to spread out and get some sun.

One of the loveliest beaches in South Maui! Great for swimmers, sunbathers, families, boogie boarders. Not much shade but beautiful, clean sand and clear lovely warm water.

Great beach choppy in windy conditions. Beach staff were great. Warm water wonderful view and you can see the whales in the distance surfacing.

Great beach. We stay on Wailea Beach and love spending days here playing in the waves. Even if you aren't staying at the Grand Wailea, buy a mai tai or Category 5 (strong!) and enjoy it on the beach. Just a lovely beach in the heart of Wailea.

Primarily beach for the Grand Wailea resort. Brown, not white sand. No rocks or shells so good for bare feet. Fairly strong waves. Good for novice or children boogie boarders.

Most enjoyable beach on this part of Island...surrounded by high end properties...upper end visitors enjoy this area more than locals

Beach is flanked by resort hotels, but does have public access. Very nice, wide beach -- with tons of room to stretch out. Waves not too high -- so can easily enjoy the water and paddleboarding, etc

Nice place to sun and jump in for a snorkel. Close to major resorts and services but lacks the majesty of Makena and Big Beach - down the road. This is a great, safe place for kids as the beach is pretty sheltered and the surf is mild compared to other areas like La Perouse Bay out in the Ahihi... More

During our trip we went to many beaches on Maui for snorkeling or just lazing in the sun. One of the best was Wailea beach. There always seemed to be places to park for people not staying at the nearby hotels and the beach was never crowded. Good snorkeling near the rocks
