We had access to the Wailea Beach because we stayed at The Grand Wailea. They provide lounging chairs and an umbrella. This allows for a very relaxing day spent at the beach listening to the crash of the waves.

Check out this beach. Nice clean beach. Wonderful views. Turtles came swimming by when we were there. If u are staying at the hotels u get all the perks. Chairs, towels, etc. No lifeguard on duty here

Soft sand, clear turquoise water, doesn't get too deep too quickly. We loved this beach, it's beautiful! You can rent a shade umbrella and chairs here as well. A turtle swam right by us while we were in the water!

We were just in Maui to get married on this beach. Right behind the Grand Wailea, where we stayed. This is a beautiful and clean beach. A awesome place to watch a romantic sunset.

You can always go get in your car and drive to Makawao which is a cool little town that is "upcountry"...or you can just walk next door to the hotel and shop at the mall.
