Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

$7.50 for a 'small punnet'. The punnet was bigger than what you get at the supermarket for the same price. The berries were the best we've had in a long time and we had many samples along the way. Our toddler loved it too. Not crowded at all.
We'll go back next time we are in the area.

The place is on the artisanal food trail so I was expecting a focus on locally produced berries. Instead I found the place confusing. Yes you can pick berries in season, but the focus seemed to be on the ‘Thai restaurant with Aussie cafe’. There was a very small selection of jams which seemed incidental to the business. In the end I wasn’t really sure what Berry World was trying to be.

What a delightful Thai Restaurant at Berry World. The vast array of dishes on the menu being enjoyed by a near full house. The service was cheerful and prompt and the food delicious. Not to mention the wonderful view of berry fields. A very enjoyable evening, thanks again to Heather, Louise & staff.

This review s for Berry World Thai restaurant. Terrible! Very bland Westernised Thai food. Tiny portions that wouldn't fill my cat, and expensive at over $20 per serving. Seriously, I'd like this place to succeed, goodness knows Timboon needs the variety, but this place is there to exploit the tourist dollar and as a local wont be getting any more of mine.

I thought the strawberries in the markets and supermarkets were sweet. These are absolutely amazing!!! Many different varieties with slightly different tastes - I personally prefer the ones with lower acidity.
The lady who owns the place was lovely! She brought us around to show us how to pluck the strawberries the correct way, and shared with us the life cycle of a strawberry - I never knew that if a petal from the flower drops off, the resulting strawberry will be deformed (but no less yummy of course!)

Had our lunch before going for strawberry picking. Shame that we had to rush our pick as it started to rain soon after we start picking the strawberr. Nonetheless a great experience for the kids. The strawberry jam is really yummy.

We stopped in on our travels along the Great Ocean Road. It was such a great experience, the staff were extremely lovely and more than happy to help and educate us on the ‘strawberry’. Not to mention Aussie, the Cockatoo!
This is the perfect activity to do whilst down that end of town, defiantly worth the stop and the taste of the most delicious strawberries you will ever eat.
Thank you for the lovely experience Berry World. 🍓

Have a berry good breakfast at Berry World, one of the stop on the 12 Apostle Gourmet Trail. Situated just outside a small town of Timboon, you pick your strawberries fresh from the ground and ready to eat right away. And because it's fresh from the ground, it's full flavored and ridiculously juicy. An fun experience for the entire family.
Coming here won't be too far out of the way either, as it is part of the region around Great Ocean Road that any foodies would love to explore.
When you’re done picking those berries, head on to the following:
1. Ice-cream! A small town of Timboon produces really yummy luxurious ice-cream
2. G.O.R.G.E Chocolates. It’s chocolates, let’s go!
3. Wine tasting at the wineries in the area
4. Cheese Farms, such as the Apostle Whey Cheese or Cheese World
