The guys at Wild Rivers Rafting will show you a great time on the Buller River. They are super professional, but also light hearted and obviously enjoy their job! You will not regret choosing to raft with this small company. Bruce, Marty and James are all very experienced and all have good stories to tell. They will take you through... More

Mart and Bruce are friendly, good instructors, safety conscious - very good guides for the novice (which our 3 were)....and fun. And they provided useful advice on local tracks for those not rafting. The Buller was fun (although a little tamer on this occasion than the Shotover a week later)

Bruce, Marty and James gave us (4 adults and 6 children: 10-11-13-14-15-15) a great experience! Very kind, professional small team who know what they are doing. The guides gave a lot of information about the river, nature, history and things that one could do while in the district. At the end coffee, tea, chocolate-milk and cookies were provided as well... Great fun, Marty and the team are a great bunch of people, had a few laughs along the way. Thanks for the great photos too. It had been heavily raining the night before, which is the best time for the thrill seekers of our family. Our 11 year old was a quite nervous about the whole trip however Marty made... More

We had a wonderful time rafting with this company in February. Everything was fantastic - highlights were doing the fun bits twice and getting out to float in the calm bits. Just great fun!

Marty and James were fantastic - made the trip out despite it only being the two of us going, they also take photos for you throughout the trip, on your own camera, free of charge (If you have a 200mm lens or bigger bring it along). Fantastic small, locally run business completely oblivious to the commercial world! Rapids were lots... More

Marty & Cathy showed our family of five a fabulous time today rafting. They were friendly, fun and flexible (as we had to make some last minute changes). The rapids were exhilarating and a highlight of our wonderful NZ holiday. Marty had great knowledge of local history which we thoroughly enjoyed learning about and he had lots of fun surprises... Laid back booking system, just ring Mardy and turn up by the Iron Bridge when told. No ridiculous elf and safety nonsense, you get your wetsuit and floatation vest, a quick briefing and off you go. HOLD ON when you are told and everything is great. We had Bruce as our guide, funny fella, very experienced, when he says jump... More

Great fun. Friendly staff and a relaxed attitude, all equipment is provided. The rapids were exciting, nothing too intimidating though. We were also allowed to jump in and float through some small rapids - something I have never done before. We had an excellent guide in Bruce, who clearly knew exactly what he was doing. As an added bonus, hot... More
