This pass is a great road with good views. One would need to be careful when driving in snow and ice.

More great New Zealand scenery! Worth stopping to stretch the legs, do the small walk and get a few photos

We pass through this pass connecting one hill to another. The view is excellent like any other New Zealand Pass and it is really scenic with lush green meadows and valleys around. Over all very nice experience

A great place to break the monotony of the drive along this stretch of state highway 8. The walk up to the viewing deck is only 200m and is on the same side of the highway coming from Omarama to Queenstown. The deck allows you...More

We travel through the Lindis pass at least three times a year, and depending on the season, and the time of day the scene changes. In early spring the pass may be covered by a dusting of snow, while later in spring, it may be...More

A very brief stop is really all you need here. Or if in a hurry then pass on this. In the spring it is not a very special sight with only dead grasses covering the hillside. There is a trail you can walk up to...More
