Another must stop while you are here. There is so much history on the island that it’s be a shame to miss this memorial. Huge respect for all of the Americans and local citizens who gave their lives during this campaign.

This is a great museum of the history of the Japanese occupation after WWI and leading up to WWII as well as through out the war. An excellent 10min film is shown when you arrive. Entrance is free.

The museum is great; starts with a video about the Battle of Saipan, Tinian, and Guam. Displays in the museum are excellent and they even touch on the local Chamorro and Carolinian cultures. What a great addition to the island's "must do". The Museum is very informative and it has a great shop with a lot of informative books. The Park itself is extensive and can be enjoyed as a place to walk and is adjacent to a beach park area.
