It is surprised that tens of thousands of humans had a blood fighting on this tiny beautiful shore. It is a pleasure to visit this history site.

We enjoyed our visit to the Memorial Park. We walked around looking at the Memorials as well as went through the center. We watched the movie on the battle for Saipan and found it a little depressing. We knew the story or Suicide Cliff, but...More

I wish we had visited earlier in our trip. The exhibit and movie give a good overview. The rangers are happy to answer questions not just about the war, but the island in general. The sites themselves throughout the island do not have much interpretation...More

Small park but a good visit. Nice to see the memorial for the lives lost on Saipan. Best part was the indoor exhibit that gave some good history of Saipan and especially the war years but also includes some pre- and post- war info.

The visitor center in the American Memorial Park was very informative about the events in Saipan before and during WW2. The exhibition is comprehensive and well maintained and you can watch a nice 20-min movie in the theater in place which is very good if...More
