This is a great museum of the history of the Japanese occupation after WWI and leading up to WWII as well as through out the war. An excellent 10min film is shown when you arrive. Entrance is free.

The museum is great; starts with a video about the Battle of Saipan, Tinian, and Guam. Displays in the museum are excellent and they even touch on the local Chamorro and Carolinian cultures. The grounds have a few memorials and pill boxes to see. One memorial was being renovated, but the other was dedicated to the Chamorro and Carolinian people that were victims of the war and was tastefully done.…
