We did not camp, but saw campground with views of ocean. Clean restrooms and showers, very well maintained county park with day use areas, picnic tables, trails. Some steel, rocky shoreline, tide pools.

We reserved a spot at the campground based on a friends recommendation...we loved the place...only negative was that the camping pad (paved) wasn't level...you would think they would be...but we have a wonderful view of the water and an end spot so our front yard...More

We were not sure we found the right place at first... but once we did it was awesome. Went at low tide to walk out onto the beach area and explore. Such a cool experience! Must see

This whole area is a recreation area, Salt Creek has good parking, some nice buildings, and is not too far out of the way

Look at some old military bunkers, explore the beach, check out the wildlife, just enjoy the view, the day, and life.

I've stopped at the Salt Creek park at least once each year for many years. First, as a Clallam County park, it's just open and free, as parks should be. When I'm out for a drive I can just drop by. There's a nice picnic...More

This is a well run county park with camping, a playground, covered kitchen area, restrooms, historic bunkers and a lovely beach with tide pools in the rocks containing all kinds of interesting sea life. Beautiful views and swimmable beach...also hiking.
