The drive up is nice from the Seattle area. We did not do the Hurricane road because of a fire/smoke. We did a few hikes to waterfalls and the rain forest and like all the trails.

Has a terrific view, and the staff was very helpful. The film was a little boring, but taught us some things. Small shop, nice bathrooms and water. The staff helped us decide what hike was best for us.

There's a small shopping center Forks Outfitters on the south side of Forks that might let you stay there. There's also an RV park the Forks 101 RV Park which is across 101 from the outfitters on a side street.
