Its very convinient to have Visitor center 1.5miles from the city and get all the information. They provided us all the information and specific hiking trial sheets across Olympic which we used till end of the tour. Very useful.

Hurricane Ridge trail are challenging but worth the effort. Elhwa River Valley is a must see & the dinning room at Crescent Lake is worth the price of the meal.

There's a small shopping center Forks Outfitters on the south side of Forks that might let you stay there. There's also an RV park the Forks 101 RV Park which is across 101 from the outfitters on a side street.
