This is the worst park in Utah. It’d be a 2 or 3, but the drug dealers and homeless people who hang out there ruined it. There are some decent restaurants nearby, but don’t go near this place, especially at night.

I wouldn't recommend going to this park unless you are attending an event. There is a large homeless population that frequents this park.

While Pioneer Park has an interesting history (the first Utah pioneers camped there, little of that is evident at the site. The park has now become a campsite for homeless people, and safety could be somewhat of an issue. Not much to see now.

The park itself is nice with a duck pond, paddle boats, a bridge and gazebo which would be great for wedding or engagement photos. There are grills for cooking in the summer, and a nice playground. Unfortunately there are many vagrants, homeless, and what appears...More

This is a park filled with homeless and drug deals. There is no reason to venture into this park. There are incidents of; violence, crime and other situations related to drug dealing.

Stay away!!!! Too many homeless and they will approach you to harass you. Such a black eye on the city

A beautiful green area but certainly not for the family. If you want to meet interesting people with very diverse backgrounds, then this is probably your place. I would not suggest going there in the evening.
