The Oregon Caves is a place of adventure, wonder, and discovery. The experience of exploring the caves; twisting and winding passage is experience worth a visit in its own right. So too is the other-worldly beauty of stalactites, stalagmites, and other mysterious calcite flowstone formations within. Less obvious, the cave wends beneath the Siskiyou Mountains, offering an inside-out vantage of the most geologically complex region in North America. Hidden within too, these caverns shelter more indigenous (only found here) cave species known anywhere west of the Mississippi. Come feel the wonder of this underground treasure buried deep beneath the folds of southwest Oregon's Siskiyou Mountains.

It is at least a 30 mile drive for Cave Junction to the Oregon caves but worth the drive. It is in a beautiful setting in the Siskiyou mountains. There are some hiking trails around there. There is a 80 minute tour that takes you through the caves. They are quite impressing. The guide does a good job explaining its... More

Our guide was great! If you're looking for amazing stalagmites and stalactites, this cave is not for you. This cave has plenty of interesting nuances, calcite formations, etc, including a river that runs through it. There are about 500 steps to navigate, but the floor is fairly even and the footing is good. The numerous steps are not bad, as... More

I had heard about the Oregon caves, but words can not capture the awe that hit us as we walked through one of the most outstanding natural formations under ground. The ranger gave a very informative tour. I can't wait to go back and share with our grandchildren.

one of the nicest underground caverns you could ever experience great place to go on a hot summer day, usually about 45-50 degrees so take a sweater.

Book a tour in advance and be sure to not wear clothes or shoes that were taken to other caves since 2005 – there is a fungus killing bats and they want to protect them. This tour is great for kids and isn't too strenuous for older adults.

It's not for the claustrophobic. It's a cave so it's dark in some places. There are a few low places that you can knock your noggin on. As long as you pay attention and you don't mind duck walking a bit, you'll be fine! The rooms in the caves are gorgeous!

Oregon Cave is a very old marble cave. The cave is fascinating, especially where you can still see the marble. The tour was filled with interesting facts, and we had the opportunity to see a bat. The soda shoppe has excellent shakes as well as good burgers - a little pricey, but worth it.

Twenty years ago my family and I visited the caves. I wanted to share it with my nephew, great nephews and granddaughter. All of us enjoyed it. My granddaughter thought it fun to hike up the inside of a mountain.

Enjoyed the cave and the Ranger was very entertaining! I think it is a great place to stop if you are driving through, but I would drive out of my way.
