We really enjoyed the park. We had a great guide on the tram tour that added to our enjoyment of the park . Its a little out the way but worth the trip if you enjoy birding.

Our family came out for a day of birding and hiking. We were not disappointed. There is an hourly tram so that if you get tired you can always ride it back from the various hiking areas.

The 45 minute Tram tour is great . The lady driver gives an interesting informative tour. But our search for birds was not too good in the late morning of a hot sunny day.

We spent the morning out there with one of the volunteers on a bird walk. It was a great experience. He was very knowledgeable of the wildlife and the plants in the park. The highlight for me was seeing the belted kingfisher.

We enjoyed the trails on our bikes. It was peaceful and we saw a few birds. The temperature was just perfect for a 6 mile ride
