Complete your tour of the Petersburg Battlefield Park at the Crater, drive out of the park, turn right and about a half-mile down the road you'll see the Old Blandford Church of Bristol Parish. Erected in 1735, abandoned in 1806, then renovated and restored in 1882, the Blandford Church and its surrounding cemetery is to Petersburg what Hollywood Cemetery is... More

The most fabulous Tiffany windows, each with a story to tell. Be sure to take the tour. Cemetery is beautiful with wonderful 18th, 19th, and 20th century monuments along with ironworks. So touching that 30,000 Confederate soldiers, mostly unknown, lie here along with other dead from every American war. It is not a military cemetery however; many families and citizens... More

One of the great cemeteries of the nation and the resting places of many influential people. It is also the resting place of many thousands of Confederate soldiers and close to the Peters burg Battlefield area

Go first to the Visitor Center just inside the cemetery gates, pay a small fee, a get an in-depth tour of the fantastic Tiffany windows which are like no others that Tiffany ever made. A brief tour in the cemetery is included, but you can explore on your own afterwards.

I have officiated at a funeral at Blandford Cemetery. Respectfully, It is a very neat place and has a lot of significance in the surrounding community. Blandford is the type of place I'd like to have hours to walk around simply to take in the history of those buried there.

We decided to take my family from Michigan to visit one of the most beautiful churches with the beautiful Tiffany windows. Learning and sharing the history of the church, the windows and the significance of each. Sharing the details of the burial plots in addition to the trials and tribulations of this historic landmark. I would highly recommend this to... More

We had a very informative tour of the church and the cemetery. Our guide gave great details about the individual windows and about Tiffany's relationship with the church. It is a beautiful church and very worth the visit!

Well out of town and probably not worth the extra effort. Burials of some of the many casualties of the Petersburg Civil War campaign
