What a great museum, do not pass up a chance to tour the sculpture garden with a docent, so valuable. The various displays are interesting but the sculptures are the best. This is a must-see if in ABQ.

The museum is both an art museum and a historical museum. The art exhibitions were fabulous (we especially enjoyed the Lujan exhibit) and we learned a lot. It's a beautiful space when the fun and bustle of Old Town has tired you out. And don't tell anyone but they really should charge more.

Much more interesting, frankly, than adjacent Old Town. The Museum's own collection is fine, if a bit limited. The space for temporary exhibits is impressive (as is the current show about Mabel Dodge Luhan). It's one of the better regional museums around.

Very good museum, lot's of local art. Interactive exposition on development of Albuquerque. You can learn a lot how lot's of American and European artists found their inspiration there. Great exhibitions.

This is a very special museum which has an incredible bronze sculpture installation outside which is well worth a few minutes. The figures and the plaques will help to familiarize the visitor with the Spanish movement into the area in the 1500s. The overall impression is impressive and plaques list the families and their original home. My draw on this... More

This lovely museum is always a treat, and our recent visit to see the Mabel Dodge Lujan exhibit was especially rewarding.......the history of this amazing woman and her influence on the history of art and artists in Taos is a wonderful learning experience. The story of her journey to New Mexico is fascinating and very well illustrated in this show.....not... More

We were unprepared for the outstanding exhibit on Mabel Dodge Luhan. We knew nothing about her, and when we had completed the exhibit about her life, and the influence she had made on the art world, we were wanting to know even more about this fascinating woman. (This exhibit is in Room 1) The quality of this exhibit is second... More

The museum is a real treasure--it is affordable and quite interesting. Went to a talk and viewed the exhibits. What a great deal! We will be going again.

This museum is very interesting in the way it explores the history of Albuquerque, which has a longer and deeper history than most American cities. The New Mexico art exhibit is quite good too. They also seem to have interesting temporary exhibits. Pro Tip= If you pay for the museum, it covers your parking, which you can use for your... More
