The Bio Park has 3 sections: Aquarium, Botanic Gardens & the Zoo. I love all three but, especially, strolling the gardens. The Aquarium, last time I was there, had some exhibits in need of some TLC. The Zoo is always nice as are the gardens.

Great place to let the kids run and see the animal. The combo ticket is worth it. You can ride the train to the aquarium from the Bio Park.

The BioPark is a fantastic place to take visitors or have a family walk and picnic. It is an Enchanting Oasis. Clean and maintained BioPark. One of my favorite parts of the park is the Japanese Garden, a beautiful and peaceful retreat. There is a...More

The River of Lights, from late November through December, is wonderful for all ages. It is almost always cold, so dress warmly, but hot chocolate (served for adults with a choice of “adult-beverage” add-in options) helps. Go early for parking. Weekends have the most to...More

We had such a wonderful time at the Albuquerque biological Park. The amazing lights were lit and the ducks were hungry for popcorn and the sites were perfect for our grandkids. They enjoyed every minute of their visit.

The whole place is incredible. I was very impressed. The zoo itself is much bigger than I anticipated and has all kinds of exotic animals. My daughters loved the ape area where we watched a baby monkey play in the water. The feeding of the...More

Depends on whether a NM resident or not. $9 for a single attraction for adults $12.50 if not a NM resident for a single attraction.

There is not a hotel at the botanical gardens. So, not sure what hotel you're talking about, but Albuquerque does have a pretty good bus system.
