We got on the trail at the Alameda Parking space. Ran about 5 miles. The trail is mostly flat. Bikers are all super helpful in announcing their presence as they pass. We were not able to see the Rio Grande from the trail. This might...More

Was such a peaceful place to walk, and we soaked up the beauty all around...the trees, the birds, the distant mountain. We were treated by a very larege, maybe pregnant porcupine high in a tree. Just a great place to hike.

Excellent. A lot of fun & scenic, too. We like to get off the beaten-trail & into the more desolate areas. Great for photographers. See my photos.

Great protected trail (no motorized vehicles allowed) with some lovely views. Look out for the sheep, horses and Teepee on the trail, you don't see those everywhere.

Riding along this paved trail on a busy Saturday was rejuvenating. Even though there were plenty of people around, it never felt crowded. Tingley Beach and the Bio Park along the trail was interesting and also a good place to use the restroom and drink...More

Great trail that is away from traffic. I wish there were more signs at each road crossing so you knew what attractions were off each road. We rode along the Bosque trail from Old Town and rode to the Casa Rodena Winery (wine tasting $8),...More

Great trail for running, jogging, walking or cycling. Although the trail was very busy with cyclists I really enjoyed my run on this trail and will run it again when I visit.

I often go with my dogs, teenagers, husband. This is a really beautiful place regardless where on the Bosque you walk. I need to go every few weeks at least.

Well marked, pretty flat, scenic trail. The Nature Center is along the route and is a great place to stop and rest. Scenic spots overlooking the Rio Grande. Very enjoyable!

Depends on how far you want to go. There are parking lots at Montano and Alameda. And there is access at the Nature Center at Candelaria which requires parking on the stress up the road a bit.
