We love hiking this park, the trails are easy and the Volcano's (actually vents) are not all that high, from the top you get a nice view of Albuquerque. One big plus there are Restrooms available in the Parking Lot. Don't forget to bring water...More

My family and I enjoyed our walk out at volcanoes day use park. It it kind of bleak terrain, but you can really see the geological history all around you.

Relatively easy trail up and around the old volcano cinder cones. We always take a hike on this trail whenever we are in Albuquerque. Peaceful and interesting.

Went for a hike. It smells like volcano. LIke walking back in time a million years. Really helps give you a perspective about Albuquerque's roots.

This was a nice little walk. We weren't really that into the scenery, but it was pleasant and the trails were well laid out and not a difficult walk.
