Hi, After a 15 month battle with the county over zoning we have decided it's time to close and let our "neighbors" and the "county zoning" win. We were awarded the special use permit in April and it's now October and we are still being asked for more "conditions" I won't bore you with the story. But after 10 Awesome... More

We had hoped to visit this place, but it has just closed down (in Oct 2015). You will still find their brochures all over the place, but luckily we emailed them first, or we would have made the trip for nothing.

The owner spent an hour with my family explaining all aspects of raising, sheering and caring for alpacas. They were beautiful, friendly animals. The kids absolutely loved it.

We enjoyed our tour (and our host/owner who told us anything and everything you would want to know about alpacas) and loved being able to pet and feed the cuddly animals. Each one seemed to have their own personality and history so it was fun to watch them interact with people and each other. A really, nice informative tour. Great... More

A sweet family activity to get up close to the animals and learn about their care and farming. Sweet animals and a great host and staff. Definitely worth your time.

A wonderful gem hidden in the heart of Albuquerque. I'm a sucker for cute furry animals. This definitely fit the bill. A few alpacas are a little skittish, but overall they are very sweet and tame. No spitting or kicking to be seen.

My sister and I took my two teenage children on the tour of the alpaca farm. What a fantastic day! Excellent tour given by the owner - he's fantastic with kids, especially special needs kids. Very informative and educational, but fun. The alpacas are sweet and loving - obviously they've been socialized since birth. Close up and personal with animals.... More

We had the best day at the alpaca ranch. We my husband and I took our grandchildren 5 and 3 they loved hugging Bella and feeding them. The best treat was when Skip brought our a cria....a newborn. Alpacas are gentle and Skip couldn't have been nicer. Please visit all ages welcome...disabilities also!
