The Botanic Gardens in Albuquerque are one of the best in the country! Priced right. You can wander all day in this place. In the summer, the butterfly pavilion is excellent. The new bugarium is a great addition. If you are there from Thanksgiving to Christmas, the River of Lights is fantastic!

Good for all ages. Attractive gardens with lovely autumn colours, especially the Japanese garden, one of the best I've seen. The reflections of the yellow cottonwoods in the lakes were beautiful. The Heritage Farm was very interesting and the large model train set was beautifully done. The Bugarium was good and so was the aquarium. We spent much longer there... More

No matter when you go they seem to have lots of displays for the season. Very large area to spend the day slowly walking around.

We visited in early November so the garden was nice but not as nice as it would be in the summer months. There were trees showing off fall colors but most of the flowers had seen better days. One exception was a nice display of huge mums in yellows, oranges and reds.

We have been here many times but first time in late fall. There were beautiful deciduous trees turning autumn colors, including a forest of them on a large green grassy meadow-like area. Extremely great for the soul!

The zoo was excellent and the aquarium small but done well. The gardens in June were very photogenic. Not sure if there is an off season where the blooms would be less colorful. The parks are near each other and a transportation trolley will take you from the zoo to the aquarium and garden. All wer included in the one... More

There are many different sections to the botanic gardens, and even a petting zoo. Localized next to the Rio Grande, parts of it are surprisingly lush and centered around beautiful water features. If you go to the outskirts, you can walk into the Bosque, or native wooded area by the river. It is a cool and refreshing place to go... More

I was at the end of my vacation and on the way to the airport. I just a couple of hours to squeeze in one more attraction. So I stopped at the Botanical Gardens. I had a wonderful time here at this garden. I didn't have enough time to fully appreciate it but thoroughly enjoyed what I did see. There... More

Sad little garden. Most everything was dry and small overall area. Nice for a walk. Needs care, many weeds and overgrown too.

Thank Bernadette L
